FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas men’s track and field athlete Clive Pullen was named Southeastern Conference (SEC) Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Pullen and the No. 1 Razorbacks competed at the New Mexico Classic over the weekend in Albuquerque. The freshman finished third in the triple jump with a personal-record mark of 52-6.5 which ties for sixth-best in the NCAA this season and third-best in the SEC. Pullen is tied with Jeremiah Green of Alabama, as the two are leading the freshman category across the nation.
The Razorbacks will be back at home this weekend as Arkansas hosts the Tyson Invitational Friday and Saturday at Randal Tyson Track Center.
