Rare 8 p.m. start for women's hoops

FAYETTEVILLE — The No. 25 University of Arkansas women’s basketball team hosts Georgia Thursday in an 8 p.m. tip from Bud Walton Arena.

The time variance from the more common 7 p.m. tip is to accomodate television. The game airs on CSS with Matt Stewart and Joe Ciampi on the call.

It is the second consecutive television game and the fourth of the year for the Razorbacks. Arkansas’ game at Mississippi State Sunday aired on FSN.

The Razorbacks enter the week 14-1 overall and 2-1 in the Southeastern Conference. Junior Lyndsay Harris leads the team with 13.5 ppg. Sophomore Sarah Watkins is second with a 12.9 ppg average and a 5.7 rpg average followed by junior C’eira Ricketts who averages 12.7 ppg and 4.7 rpg.
