Razorback Golf Finishes Ninth at The Ridges

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas golf team wrapped up two days of play Sunday evening at The Ridges Intercollegiate in Johnson City, Tenn., to finish ninth on the 72 par, 7147 yard course after shooting a first round of 290 and second and third rounds of 301. Their final score of 892 put them at 28 over par.
Junior Adam Wing led the Hogs in their first tournament with a tie for 18th place. Wing shot rounds of 70, 75 and 76 to finish with a final score of 221 and five over par. Junior Seth Murphy finished in a tie for 24th. He finished seven over par with a final score of 223, after shooting rounds of 71, 78 and 74.
Senior transfer Nick Beach finished in 42nd with a score of 227. Beach shot two rounds of 75 and a third round of 77 to put him at 11 over par. Junior Andrew Dahl finished 50th. Dahl shot a 74 in his first round and third rounds and 81 in his second round, for a final score of 229 and 13 over par.
Sophomore Josh Farrell came in 55th after shooting rounds of 77, 73 and 80. His final score of 230 put him at fourteen over par.
The Razorbacks will see their next opportunity to compete on the course when they travel to Tampa, Fla., on October 14-16 for the Gary Koch Intercollegiate.
