FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas volleyball team continues its non-conference schedule Friday versus South Dakota in its first match of this weekend’s Razorback Invitational. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. (CT) start at Barnhill Arena. During the two-day round robin, Arkansas will also play host to Stony Brook and SMU.
The first 50 UA students at Friday’s match against South Dakota will receive a free hot dog, popcorn and drink voucher. The promotion calendar also includes free admission for all Arkansas faculty and staff with a valid UA ID card. Single-match tickets are $5 for adults while UA students and fans 17 years and younger get in free.
The Razorbacks’ match against South Dakota will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Arkansas will also be playing Stony Brook for the first time when the teams meet Saturday at 11 a.m. In the weekend finale, Arkansas owns a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series with SMU. The teams last played during the 2004 season. The Arkansas-SMU match will be streamed live on SEC Network+ which is available through SECNetwork.com, ESPN3.com or the WatchESPN app.
In its last outing, Arkansas dropped a five-set decision to Oral Roberts despite a career-high performances from Monica Bollinger, Meredith Hays and Ana Sofia Jusino. Bollinger picked up career-best 28 digs while Hays and Jusino registered career highs with 29 and 12 kills, respectively. Defensively, the Razorbacks had its fifth double-digit blocking effort of the season.

Fans can also visit the Ticket Center’s physical location next to Baum Stadium on Razorback Road. There are two pricing options beginning at $40 for general admission packages. New for the 2014 season, each purchase includes a free Razorback knit hat.
