Razorback Baseball Volunteers With Miracle League

FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas baseball team spent part of its Saturday last weekend volunteering with the Northwest Arkansas Miracle League in Springdale.

The Razorbacks helped the Miracle League kids play baseball. Miracle League players were paired with a "buddy" from the Razorback baseball team.

Redshirt sophomore outfielder/infielder Tyler Spoon was one of the Razorbacks that participated and talked about the impact volunteering with the Miracle League had on him.

"It was really cool to hang around the kids," Spoon said. "It was a really humbling experience."

Following the game, the Razorbacks and the Miracle League kids sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
