FAYETTEVILLE – The Razorbacks softball team was rained out of two games against the No. 3/4 Georgia Bulldogs over the weekend. The rest of the three-game series is canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The Razorbacks took game one from the Southeastern Conference power Georgia on Saturday after Friday’s game was postponed due to bad weather. Game two of the three-game series was suspended in the top of the first inning on Saturday afternoon, and was officially canceled on Sunday along with the series finale. Neither game will be rescheduled.
The Razorbacks beat third-ranked UGA on Saturday afternoon 2-1 off a two RBI double by freshman Chloe Oprzedek and stellar pitching by senior Kim Jones on Senior Day.
The Razorbacks host Louisiana-Monroe on Tuesday, April 26, for a doubleheader at Bogle Park before making the final SEC road trip to Tennessee next weekend.
