Razorback volleyball reports Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas volleyball team begins a new era as they report for fall practice Friday. The Razorbacks begin their 15th year of competition under new head coach Robert Pulliza, just the second head coach for volleyball at Arkansas. Friday’s schedule begins at 3 p.m. with a team meeting and is followed by administrative meetings, team photos and dinner. The first official practice is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday when the team reconvenes for testing in Barnhill Arena. Individual practices follow filling the morning and the team practice is scheduled for 3-6 p.m. “I’m excited to finally have everyone together at the same time so we can start moving in the same direction,” said Pulliza. “This is going to be the first time that we have the players, coaches and staff all together and I’m looking forward to it.” The Razorbacks are scheduled for conditioning and practices filling most of the day until classes resume Monday, Aug. 25. Arkansas will squeeze in practice Monday-Wednesday before departing for the team’s first competition at Colorado State the last weekend of the month.
