HOOVER, Ala.- The 20th-ranked and No. 7 seed Arkansas baseball team will look to continue its winning ways in the SEC Tournament Thursday afternoon, taking on 8th-ranked and No. 3 seed LSU at 4:30 p.m.

TV/Video Coverage Tuesday’s game will be televised live on CSS/CST and broadcasted online on ESPN3.

Probable Pitchers Thursday (4:30p): LSU -RHP Aaron Nola vs. ARK – LHP Colin Poché

Series History LSU leads the all-time series with Arkansas 59-29, and has an 8-4 record against the Razorbacks in neutral site games. The Razorbacks lost two of three on the road at LSU earlier this season, falling 3-5 and 4-5, before bouncing back with a 10-4 victory in the series finale. Arkansas is 3-6 against the Tigers all-time in the SEC Tournament.

– The Razorbacks improved to 25-33 all-time in the SEC Tournament with wins over Texas A&M and Ole Miss the first two days of the tournament. – Arkansas opened the SEC Tournament with back-to-back wins for the second straight year and the fifth time in 20 SEC Tournament appearances. – The Razorbacks have won five straight games and eight of their last nine against SEC opponents. – LSU and Arkansas are currently tied for the longest winning streak in the league at five games. – Arkansas has made 3 SEC Tournament Championship game appearances, finishing runner up in 1998 to Auburn, in 1999 to Alabama and in 2007 to Vanderbilt. – Arkansas earned its 11th victory of the year against a ranked opponent on Wednesday, including the fifth over a top-10 team. – The Razorbacks are attempting to win each of their first three games in the SEC Tournament for just the second time in school history. Arkansas was 3-0 in 2007 before falling to Vanderbilt in the title game. – The most tournament wins for Arkansas is four and came in 1999. – Dave Van Horn is 13-18 in 10 SEC Tournament appearances – The Razorbacks currently have the No. 2 earned run average in the SEC at 2.33, sitting only behind South Carolina at 2.15. – Arkansas leads the SEC in pickoffs with 18 and double plays turned with 56.
