FAYETTEVILLE – A 16-2 run to end the first half has @RazorbackMBB ahead of Goergia by seven after the first half, 44-37 in a sold out Bud Walton Arena.

Senior Coty Clarke came out hot, scoring the first three points of the game, earning his #MrVersatility nickname with 14 of Arkansas’ then-last 23 since overtime at Kentucky. Clarke finished the half with a team-high 15, one point shy of his season-high 16, with one rebound and a lob to sophomore Michael Qualls for his 50th career dunk. Qualls followed up with a similar lob to Clarke for another huge slam and eight points of his own on 3-of-4 from the field.

Freshman Bobby Portis continued his reign under the basket, grabbing five boards and leading the Razorbacks on the glass for the twelfth time this season.

Both teams came out at an impressive offensive clip, finishing the half at 60 percent and 28-of-47 combined. Arkansas continued it’s hot streak from the free throw line, following up a 16-16 outing at Kentucky with 10-13 in the first period.

Arkansas has a 8-6 edge in turnovers, capitalizing with 10 points on Georgia miscues.
