Senior Coty Clarke came out hot, scoring the first three points of the game, earning his #MrVersatility nickname with 14 of Arkansas’ then-last 23 since overtime at Kentucky. Freshman Bobby Portis continued his reign under the basket, grabbing five boards and leading the Razorbacks on the glass for the twelfth time this season.
Both teams came out at an impressive offensive clip, finishing the half at 60 percent and 28-of-47 combined. Arkansas continued it’s hot streak from the free throw line, following up a 16-16 outing at Kentucky with 10-13 in the first period.
