FAYETTEVILLE — The University of Arkansas men’s tennis won five matches at the Navy National All-Conference Invitational on Friday.
Both doubles pairs recorded wins over host Navy, with senior Christian Lee and freshman Juan Marino recording an 8-3 victory and the freshmen duo Johan den Toom and Jacob Herndon notching an 8-2 win.
The Razorbacks also had success at singles, winning three of four matches against Navy. In their second collegiate competition, each of the three freshmen recorded a win over their opponent. Playing in the 4, 6, 8 positions, Marino, den Toom and Herndon each earned straight set victories.&
The Razorbacks will continue competition at 8 a.m. Saturday against Princeton.
