FORT MYERS, Fla. — The University of Arkansas men’s tennis team notched three wins on its second day at the FGCU Invitational in Ft. Myers, Fla., Saturday.
Both doubles pairs won a match as well as sophomore Santiago Munoz finding success in a singles match.
Senior Pete Thomason and junior Jovan Parlic defeated Boston College’s Philip Nelson and Aiden McNulty 8-3 while senior Hall Fess and Munoz took down Will Neuner and Richard Meade of Florida Atlantic 8-4.
Munoz was also victorious in singles play, knocking off Boston College’s Kyle Childree 6-2, 6-3.
Sunday’s play will include singles and doubles finals matches as well as doubles and singles consolation play.
