FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s basketball team will put its three-game winning streak on the line Tuesday evening, welcoming the Houston Cougars to town for a 6 p.m. tip-off on SEC Network.

Arkansas is 21-17 all-time against Houston, including winning seven of the last eight meetings. The Razorbacks are 13-2 in Fayetteville against their old rival from the Southwest Conference.

The Razorbacks are 52-1 (.981) against unranked non-conference opponents in Bud Walton Arena under head coach Mike Anderson. The only loss came on Nov. 18, 2015 against Akron.

Moses Kingsley is tied for 11th in the country with 3.3 blocks per game this season and has recorded at least one block in 37 of his last 40 contests.

Arkansas has outscored all seven of its opponents in fast break points and holds a commanding 126-34 (+92) edge in the transition game. The Razorbacks have scored 20-plus fast break points in four of the seven games this year.

Arkansas recorded 20-plus assists twice last week against Mount St. Mary’s and Austin Peay. The Razorbacks are tied for 4th in the country with four games of 20-plus assists this season and are 36-3 in the Mike Anderson era when dishing out 20-plus assists.

In the second half of the last three games, Arkansas has combined to commit just nine turnovers, averaging one per seven minutes of action.

The Razorbacks have single-digit turnovers in two of the last three games and limited Austin Peay to just one steal on Saturday, marking the eighth time in the last 10 years an Arkansas opponent only has one steal in a game.

The Razorbacks lead the SEC in free throw percentage at 77.6 percent, while averaging 17.3 made free throws per game, good for sixth in the league.

Arkansas is second in the SEC in scoring offense, averaging 84.3 points per game. The Razorbacks are also second in field goal percentage at 48.1 percent.

The Razorbacks are looking to win seven of their first eight games for the sixth time in the last 13 years and just the 10th time since joining the SEC for the 1991-92 season. Arkansas has started at least 7-1 in 20 of the last 42 years dating back to the start of the Eddie Sutton era in 1974-75.

In those 20 times starting 7-1 since the beginning of Eddie Sutton’s tenure, Arkansas has made 15 NCAA Tournament appearances, eight Sweet Sixteen’s, six Elite Eight’s, three Final Four’s, two Championship Games and captured one National Title.
