Razorbacks Close Out Fall Slate

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – In its final day of fall competition, Arkansas women’s tennis came away with seven combined victories in doubles and singles action against Utah at the Brown Classic.

The tandem of Mia Jurasic and Ana Oparenovic notched their third doubles victory of the weekend, improving their fall record to 4-2. The duos of Makenzie Craft/Flavia Araujo and Oleksandra Shkorupeieva/Myrna Olaya each earned victories as well.

In singles action, Oparenovic, Jurasic, Araujo and Nicole Breaux all won their final matches to give Arkansas 10 wins through three days of play.

For the weekend, the Razorbacks tallied 18 combined wins in doubles and singles.

“Today was an outstanding overall team effort and a strong way to complete the fall competitive season,” head coach Michael Hegarty said. “We have prepared ourselves well this fall to have a very strong spring.”
