TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team concluded play at the SEC Coaches Classic on Sunday. The trio of Juan Marino, Austin Robles and Adam Sanjurjo all competed in singles and they each dropped their respective matches.

Earlier this weekend, Marino defeated the tournament’s highest-ranked player, No. 26 Mate Cutura from Mississippi State, giving Arkansas five different players with wins over ranked opponents this fall. The duo of Johan den Toom and Branch Terrell also completed a 3-0 weekend and captured their doubles flight.

“Fitness was a big factor in the matches today, as everyone was a bit beaten down physically,” assistant coach Nestor Briceno said. “Our guys tried to pull through as best as they could and I’m proud of their effort today and throughout the tournament.”
