FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas women’s tennis team is set to host Tulsa on Friday at Dills Indoor Courts. First serve is slated for 5 p.m.

Arkansas looks to maintain momentum of a doubleheader sweep last Sunday in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks defeated No. 45 Purdue 4-3 and Saint Louis 5-2, improving their record to 4-2 overall.

“We are looking forward to another great home match,” Arkansas women’s tennis head coach Michael Hegarty said. “Our matches with Tulsa are always of a high standard, and it’s one of our best rivalries.”

The Golden Hurricane enters Fayetteville with a 6-1 record this spring and is coming off a 4-1 win over No. 15 Baylor last Saturday.

Friday’s match will mark the 29th meeting between the two programs with Arkansas holding a 24-4 advantage in the all-time series. The Razorbacks won last year’s meeting, 5-2, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Leading the way for the Razorbacks in singles is freshman Ana Oparenovic. Oparenovic is 5-1 in dual matches, 11-4 overall and is currently riding a four-match winning streak. In addition, she and sophomore Mia Jurasic will look to continue their dominance in doubles. The duo is 5-1 in dual matches, 9-3 overall and has won eight of their last 10.

Following this weekend, the Razorbacks will host Oklahoma State on Friday, Feb. 12 at 5 p.m.

Admission is FREE to all matches. Pizza, popcorn, coffee, hot chocolate and Pepsi products are provided at each match.
