FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A classic match on the No. 1 singles’ court dealt Arkansas a heartbreaking loss to Kentucky, 4-3, Sunday at the Dills Indoor Tennis Center in Fayetteville.
The loss drops the 71st-ranked Razorbacks to 3-10 for the season, 1-5 in Southeastern Conference play. The Wildcats, ranked 30th, are now 13-6 and 3-3 in the SEC.
“This was a great college tennis match,” Arkansas Coach Robert Cox said, “One break either way determines the match.”
