Razorbacks Rank In Top-20 In All National Polls

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – One by one as the newest national baseball polls were released today, the Razorback baseball team found themselves in the Top-20 in every single one. Coming in last week as high as No. 12 in the National College Baseball Writers’ Association poll, the Hogs did drop slightly in some polls after going 2-2 over last week’s four-game stretch.

The Razorbacks highest ranking this week comes at No. 14 in the DI Baseball poll and USA Today/ESPN poll, which hasn’t had a new poll since the preseason back in January.  That No. 14 ranking is still higher than than the Hogs climbed during all of 2015.

Arkansas is now 10-2 on the still young season and reached the 10-win plateau quicker than in the last four years.

The Hogs will face Gonzaga this week in a two-game midweek series starting on Tuesday at Baum Stadium with first pitch at 3 p.m. Game two between the Hogs and Bulldogs will be on Wednesday at 3 p.m. This weekend the homestand continues with a three-game series with Western Illinois starting on Friday (3 p.m.) and running through Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.)
