Razorbacks Ready for Spring Game
BY ANDRES FOCIL
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Houston Nutt and the Arkansas Razorbacks finished their final practice before Saturday’s spring game with windy conditions on Friday. A 45-minute period was allotted for individual drills before the coaching staff split the players into teams for Saturday’s game.
The two teams practiced separately for about 20 minutes before the staff called it a day. Head coach Houston Nutt was happy about the day’s work and has his troops looking forward to tomorrow’s game.
“This was just a fundamental day for the first 45 minutes and then we divided up into our teams and went over some things,” Nutt said. “Today was a good day, just a good fun day and their getting ready for tomorrow and hopefully nobody else is injured. Elliott Harris has a little tweak (knee); there is a possibility that it could be torn cartilage. He got it during yesterday’s scrimmage.”
The Hogs will take to the fields on Thursday and Friday in preparation for Saturday’s game. The spring game is slated to kickoff at about noon on Saturday. Fans will be able to sit in the east and south end zone stands. Fans will be able to enter the stadium through gates one, 12, 13, 15 and 16. Gates will open at 11 a.m. There is no admission charge.
