Razorbacks Return To Links

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – It’s back to the links this weekend for the No. 16 University of Arkansas women’s golf team as they travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for the LSU Tiger Golf Classic at the University Club Friday-Sunday.

The Razorbacks will travel all six members on the roster with junior Jordy LaBarbera competing as an individual. It was a competitive qualifier with sophomore Kaylee Benton finishing in the top spot. Sophomores Maria Fassi and Cara Gorlei were second and third, respectively, while senior Summar Roachell and junior Alana Uriell round out the lineup.

Fassi and Ureill have both picked up wins this year with Uriell pacing the Razorbacks to the team title at UTSA in the fall.

The event signals the halfway point of the spring regular season schedule. The Razorbacks take part in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Georgia, April 7-9 before heading to Birmingham, Alabama, for the start of the postseason at the Southeastern Conference Championship.
