Razorbacks Sit in Fourth after Two Rounds at t

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The University of Arkansas men’s golf squad is off to their best start of the season after the two first two rounds at the Pepsi Southwest Missouri State Challenge in Springfield, Mo., at Highland Springs Country Club. At the end of play on Monday, the Razorbacks sat in fourth place in the tournament and had three players in the top-20 golfers thus far.
Senior All-American Craig Lile is one stroke off the lead, behind Arkansas State’s Matt Young, after shooting an opening round 68 followed by a second round of 70. Lile finished the day with a six-under par, 138, while Young shot a 137.
Sophomore Beau Galyean is tied for 16th after a 147 (3-over par) with sophomore Drew Higginbothom close behind tied for 20th at 148 (4-over par). Rounding out the Razorback lineup are redshirt freshman Adam Wing tied for 37th (8-over par) and junior Ryan Blagg tied at 41st (9-over par).
The Razorbacks will finish action on Tuesday when the final round is played.
