Razorbacks sit in Ninth after Two Rounds

KIAWAH ISLAND, SC – The University of Arkansas men’s golf team sits in ninth place in a field of 15 teams after two rounds at the Cleveland Golf Kiawah Island Intercollegiate on Monday afternoon at Osprey Point Golf Club.
Senior All-American Craig Lile, tied for third overall with a 143, leads the Hogs at one under par after shooting an opening round 70 and following up with a 73 in the second round.
Adam Wing, a redshirt freshman playing in his first tournament for the Razorbacks, is tied for 22nd with a 148 after rounds of 75 and 73.
Rounding out the Razorbacks line-up is sophomore Drew Higginbothom at 151 and junior Ryan Blagg at 154. Higginbothom is in a tie at 35 after shooting a 74 and a 77 for the day. Blagg sits tied at 54 after an opening round 75 followed by a 79.
True freshman Seth Murphy shot an opening round 76 but struggled in the second with an 84 and sits in 65 place with a 160.
The Cleveland Golf Kiawah Island Intercollegiate finishes up Tuesday with the third and final round.
