Razorbacks Slates For 11 National TV Appearances

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas baseball team is set for unprecedented national exposure in 2015 as the Razorbacks will make at least 11 national television appearances on an ESPN affiliated network as announced by the league office Tuesday morning.

Along with 11 nationally televised games, Arkansas fans will have Razorback baseball at their fingertips throughout the 2015 season as all home games and road SEC games will be available through SEC Network Plus and the WatchESPN App.

Arkansas, ranked No. 16 in the country by Perfect Game USA, is scheduled to play eight times on the newly launched SEC Network, twice on ESPNU and once on ESPN2. The first nationally televised contest of the year will come in nonconference action against California on Feb. 28 with an 11 a.m. first pitch at Baum Stadium.

The Razorbacks will play three nationally televised Thursday primetime games, taking on LSU March 19 on the SEC Network, Ole Miss March 26 on ESPNU and Alabama April 30 on the SEC Network. All three series will include Friday national broadcasts on the SEC Network, while the Alabama series finale will also be televised on ESPN2.

The SEC Network and ESPN2 will conclude the regular season with comprehensive coverage of the SEC Baseball Tournament, marking the first time the entire tournament has aired on national television.

The Arkansas ticket office has released 200 additional mini plans to provide fans the opportunity to choose between five SEC Friday or Saturday games for just $55. The plans include games against LSU, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Tennessee.

As the demand for mini plans continues to grow, fans are encouraged to explore season ticket options as well for access to all 35 home games at Baum Stadium during the 2014 season.

To give fans the best chance to watch weekend SEC action, the Arkansas ticket office has released an additional 200 mini plans for fans to pick between five Friday or Saturday

Arkansas returns six position players and seven pitchers from a squad that posted 40 wins and made the program’s 13th consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament during the 2014 season.

The Razorbacks are one of just seven teams in the country to advance to each of the last 13 NCAA Tournaments as they look to make it 14 straight during the 2015 season. Arkansas has appeared in seven College World Series, five Super Regionals and 27 NCAA Tournaments in program history.

The Razorbacks open the 2015 campaign on Feb. 13, playing host to North Dakota with a first pitch slated for 3:05 p.m. on SEC Network Plus and the WatchESPN App.
