Razorbacks attend SEC Media Day

HOOVER, Ala. – Arkansas made its appearance at 2008 Southeastern Conference Football Media Days on Friday as head coach Bobby Petrino, center Jonathan

Luigs and linebacker Elston Forte traveled to The Wynfrey Hotel to meet with the media. Arkansas was one of four schools featured on the final day of the three-day event, with Auburn, Kentucky and South Carolina also appearing on Friday. The Arkansas contingent fielded questions from the more than 800 credentialed media from the print, video, internet and radio realms.

The Razorbacks begin their circuit at 10:40 a.m. with Petrino spending 40 minutes talking to the print and internet media. During that time Luigs and Forte make their rounds with a number of television crews. The print media will interviewed the players in a group setting for 20 minutes while each of the 10 radio and television rooms were given 10 minutes with both players and coaches. Aside from local television stations at the event, SEC-TV, CSS, CBS College and ESPN were all in attendance.
