FAYETTEVILLE — Two Arkansas divers competed in the platform diving event Wednesday during the final day of competition at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships held in Minneapolis, Minn.
Senior Kesha Naylor (Saskatchewan, Canada) put up a 12th place score of 252.35 in the prelim to qualify for the final. Naylor finished ninth overall with a total score of 522.55.
Sophomore Shelby Bartlett (Noblesville, Ind.) earned a personal-best score of 236.60 in the prelim and finished in 17th place.
The Razorback swimming and diving team will end the 2013-14 season next week at the NCAA Championships. For the second consecutive year, seven swimmers from the University of Arkansas were selected to attend the NCAA Championships held in Minneapolis, Minn., from March 20-22. Seven qualifiers ties the program record for number of women sent to NCAAs set last season, and swimmers will participate in 10 individual events and four relays, the most events in program history.
