Razorbacks continue to practice hard

FAYETTEVILLE – The 18th-ranked University of Arkansas football team held practice inside Walker Pavilion Wednesday afternoon as it continued to prepare for Saturday’s Southwest Classic against No. 14 Texas A&M inside Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Defensive coordinator and secondary coach Willy Robinson commented that he was pleased with the progress his defense has made in practice this week.

"They were fast today," Coach Robinson said. "The kids saw themselves on tape from practice yesterday and were much faster today."

Coach Robinson discussed the process of changing defensive assignments and was encouraged by the response of his defensive players.

"The fact is, we keep it simple," Coach Robinson said. "We make sure everybody knows their assignments."

Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 11 a.m. The game will be aired nationally on ESPN.

A limited number of tickets remain in the Arkansas section and can be purchased by calling the Razorback Ticket Center at 800-982-HOGS or online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
