Razorbacks endure rain during Monday morning practice

FAYETTEVILLE – The day after a long scrimmage, the Razorback football team was back on the field on Monday at 9 a.m. for the first of two practices behind Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

Clouds and eventual drizzle did little to hinder the two-hour workout which included drills, special teams and full squad plays.

Monday morning’s practice began with the offense breaking up into its position groups and the defense walking through its goal line protection. The sessions lasted roughly 15 minutes before the Razorbacks turned their attention to special teams. Focusing on the punt, protection and blocking, the squad eventually spent some time on kickoffs.

Skeleton drills were next on the agenda before the Hogs worked on their goal line offensive plays and ended with the two-minute offense.

The Razorbacks are scheduled to practice again at 4 p.m. on Monday. For more information regarding Razorback football or University of Arkansas athletics please visit ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
