FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas men’s tennis team wrapped up competition at the SEC Fall Classic on Saturday.
Seniors Mike Nott and Hall Fess both won their first match of the day, advancing to the quarterfinal round of the consolation bracket Saturday afternoon. Nott defeated freshman Dante Saleh of Auburn 6-2, 3-6, 10-6 before falling to Florida’s Elliot Orkin 6-4, 6-3. Fess beat LSU’s Korinek 6-3, 7-6(5) before falling in a tough match against Michael Alford of Florida 3-6, 7-6(5), 10-6.
The Razorbacks will be back in action Friday, Sept. 27, at the Naval Academy Invitational in Annapolis, Md.
