The Tigers got on the board in the top of the first when they brought two runners in off of a single and a fielding error by the Razorbacks. The scored remained at 2-0 until the top of the seventh when their third baseman hit a homerun over the left field wall bringing in two runs and giving Missouri the 4-0 lead.Defensively, the Razorbacks held pretty strong, collecting 21 putouts and 12 assists."I thought our defense played really well," said head coach Mike Larabee. "I would not trade Chloe Oprzedek or Clarisa Navarro for anyone in the country, defensively." The Razorbacks were unable to bring any runs home today, making the final score 4-0."Our hitting let us down today," said Larabee. "You have to give Missouri’s pitching credit though, they are very talented players. Freshman Ciara Clampitt started in the circle and pitched three innings while recording one strikeout.
