FAYETTEVILLE – Fans of the 15th-ranked University of Arkansas football team were on campus in full force to show their support Saturday afternoon, as Razorback Fan Day took place inside Bud Walton Arena.
Razorback fans of all ages were able to meet Arkansas football players, staff and coaches for autographs and photos. Players were scattered around the arena, meeting fans and signing autographs both on the arena floor and up in the concourse.
Razorback mascot Tusk IV and the spirit squad were on hand to pose for photos. Video highlights from the 2010 season played throughout the concourse, and food vendors were open for fans’ enjoyment. Arkansas football posters for the 2011 season were also made available for fans.
The event was free to the public, and showed the excitement of both team members and fans for the upcoming season.
UA will kick off the 2011 season on Sept. 3 against Missouri State inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff and will be available on pay-per-view.
