FAYETTEVILLE — As part of its spring schedule, the University of Arkansas volleyball team will play a home match against Kansas this Saturday at Barnhill Arena. The match is scheduled for a noon (CT) start and will represent the Razorbacks’ third spring competition of the year. The Arkansas-Kansas volleyball match is free to the public with doors opening at 10:30 a.m.
Arkansas began its spring schedule with a 2-1 record at the UMKC Tournament in Kansas City, Mo. The Razorbacks had straight-set wins over Missouri State and Saint Louis with a loss to Kansas State during the one-day competition. Arkansas then traveled to Tulsa, Okla., for a midweek matchup and came away with 3-0 win against Tulsa. The teams played a fourth set which was won by the Golden Hurricane.
Following Saturday’s match, the Razorbacks will close out their spring season with another road match April 25 at Missouri State. It will be the fourth consecutive year for Arkansas to finish its spring schedule against the Bears. The Razorbacks have won the previous three spring matchups with Missouri State.
