FAYETTEVILLE — The No. 17 Arkansas baseball team continues its non-conference schedule on Tuesday as it hosts Stephen F. Austin in a midweek doubleheader. Game one is set to begin at 3:05 p.m., with game two of the twinbill scheduled to begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games of the doubleheader will be televised by CST and also streamed online at ArkansasRazorbacks.com. The web stream for both games will be blacked out in areas where CST is available. Both games of the twinbill will also be available on the Razorback Baseball Radio Network from IMG. Three-time Arkansas Sportscaster of the Year Chuck Barrett (play-by-play) and former Arkansas Sports Information Director Rick Schaeffer (analyst) will call the action. Reserved tickets for Tuesday’s doubleheader are on sale for $10. Tickets may be purchased by calling 1-800-982-HOGS (4647), by visiting the online ticket center at ArkansasRazorbacks.com or on gameday at Baum Stadium. Only Tuesday season and single-game tickets (Game 27) will be honored for both games of the doubleheader. Fans that purchased single-game tickets for the rained out Nevada game (Game 19) and have not already exchanged their tickets will be contacted by the UA ticket office. Season tickets for the Nevada game are not eligible for exchange as season tickets have already been distributed for that playing date. A promotional giveaway is planned for Tuesday’s game as it will be Gatorade Silicone Watch Day. The Razorbacks are 25-10 on the season and 8-7 in Southeastern Conference play after dropping two of three games to No. 3 Kentucky over the weekend. Tim Carver hit .417 (5-for-12) with two RBI and three runs scored in the series against the Wildcats, while Dominic Ficociello batted .364 (4-for-11) with two RBI and two runs scored. Ficoceillo and Matt Reynolds are tied for the team lead with a .336 batting average. Each of them have hit four homers, while Reynolds has driven in a team-leading 26 RBI and Ficociello has 23 RBI. Carver is hitting .326 with 19 RBI and a team-high 12 stolen bases. Arkansas will start junior left hander Randall Fant in the first game of Tuesday’s doubleheader. Fant, who will be making his seventh start of the season, has a 1-2 record with a 5.40 ERA. In his last outing against Oklahoma last Tuesday, Fant allowed a run on three hits in two innings of work. The Razorbacks have not announced a starter for the second game of the doubleheader. Brandon Moore has seen time in 13 games, including 11 relief appearances, and has a 3-0 record with two saves and a SEC-leading 0.95 ERA. Colby Suggs has appeared in a team-leading 16 games this season and has a 2-0 record with a 1.62 ERA. Cade Lynch has made 14 outings out of the bullpen and is 1-1 with two saves and a 2.12 ERA. Stephen F. Austin enters the doubleheader with a 14-21 overall record and a 7-8 mark in Southland Conference competition. The Lumberjacks are coming off a series loss to McNeese State. SFA won the first game of the series, before getting swept in a doubleheader on Saturday. As a team, Stephen F. Austin is hitting .259, while the pitching staff has a 4.05 team ERA. The Lumberjacks are led offensively by Hunter Dozier, who leads the team in each of the triple crown categories with a .353 batting average, eight homers and 24 RBI. Freddy Villalobos is hitting .311 with two homers and 20 RBI, while Rene Moreda is batting .305 with 11 RBI. Stephen F. Austin is scheduled to throw sophomore southpaw Reid Landers in the first game of the twinbill. Landers, who will be making his first start of the season, is 0-1 with a 7.36 ERA. Junior righty Justin Choate will start the nightcap. Choate has a 0-4 record with a 6.03 ERA in 11 appearances this season, including three starts. Alex Moshier has all three saves this season for the Lumberjacks and has compiled a 3-0 record with a 1.96 ERA in 13 relief appearances. Chris Ingvardsen leads the team with 15 appearances and has a 0-0 record with a 2.40 ERA. Cory Ochs has 1.69 ERA in 12 appearances, while Kevin Bishop has not allowed a run in eight outings out of the bullpen. Arkansas and Stephen F. Austin have met just twice previously with the Razorbacks winning both games. The two teams last met in the 2006 season with Arkansas claiming a 15-7 win in Edinburg, Texas. The only other meeting came in the 1989 season when the Razorbacks defeated the Lumberjacks 9-1 in Fayetteville.
