Razorbacks host two ranked teams

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.The Razorbacks will host the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Santa Clara Broncos on Friday and Sunday, respectively, at the Dills Indoor Tennis Complex.

“Going into these matches after a great win against SMU has given us some great momentum,” said head coach Robert Cox. “We are playing two ranked teams, so there will be some really good tennis this weekend.”

The No. 71 Hogs will meet the No. 74 Hawkeyes on Friday, at 5 p.m. Iowa comes to Fayetteville with a record of 1-1, and Arkansas will be their first ranked competition of the season.

The No. 47-Ranked Broncos of Santa Clara will face the Razorbacks on Sunday at 10 a.m. The Broncos have a record of 4-3, and are coming off a 4-3 win against Loyola Marymount.

The women’s tennis team will also play at home this weekend. On Friday they will face No. 37 Tulsa at 11 a.m., and on Sunday, the women will compete against No. 69 Texas Tech at 2 p.m.
