Razorbacks move in both polls

FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas women’s basketball team moved up in a pair of national polls this week.

The Razorbacks were ranked No. 25 in the Associated Press Top 25 before defeating No. 10 Kentucky Thursday and getting a win at Mississippi State Sunday.

The wins moved Arkansas up to No. 20 in the AP poll this week.

Arkansas has been ranked as high as No. 7 in the AP poll. Thank ranking came just before their Dec. 10, 1995, game with Southwest Missouri State. The Razorbacks have been as high as No. 8 on several occasions.

The Razorbacks were in, and then fell out of the USA TODAY/ESPN Coaches Poll after the loss at Florida to start the SEC season.

Arkansas returns to that poll today at No. 23, with 100 points from the coaches.
