FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas seniors Mariah Howdeshell and Jaime Pisani not only held onto their No. 1 individual gymnastics national rankings for a second week, they are now joined by Razorback teammates in the No. 2 position.

Howdeshell is the top-rated bars worker in the country and Pisani is ranked No. 1 in the nation on floor.

Pisani is also No. 2 in the country on bars while sophomore Katherine Grable trails only Pisani in the floor rankings.

Howdeshell leads all bars workers with a 9.896 average while Pisani is next at 9.892. Pisani leads floor with a 9.925 while Grable is next at 9.917.

Grable is also second in the country in the all-around, tied for fourth on beam and sixth on vault.

Pisani is seventh in the all-around and tied for 14th on vault. Sophomore Shelby Salmon is tied for 23rd on bars and junior Jordan Salsberg is 27th in the all-around.

In the team rankings, the Razorbacks are in the top three for the fourth straight week. After beginning the year 11th in the preseason rankings, Arkansas moved as high as No. 1 two weeks ago for the first time and is now No. 3. The top 10 includes Utah (197.031), Alabama (196.675), Arkansas (196.667), Florida (196.630), Oklahoma (196.613), Georgia (196.605), UCLA (196.435), Nebraska (196.113), Oregon State (196.031) and Penn State (195.855).

In the events, Arkansas is No. 1 in the country on bars for the third straight week, No. 4 on floor, No. 6 on vault and No. 7 on beam.

Arkansas’ top-rated bars lineup includes Salsberg (9.804), freshman Stephani Canizaro (9.779), Grable (9.825), Pisani (9.892), Salmon (9.838) and Howdeshell (9.896).

In the South Central Regional rankings, Arkansas is No. 1 overall, No. 1 on bars, No. 2 on beam and floor, and No. 3 on vault.

Individually, Grable is second on vault, followed by Pisani in a tie for fourth and Salsberg tied for 15th. On bars, Howdeshell is No. 1, Pisani No. 2, Salmon tied for No. 6 and Grable tied for ninth. Grable is tied for first on beam, sophomore Scarlett Williams tied for 11th and Salsberg 13th. Pisani is first on floor, Grable second, junior Amy Borsellino 14th and sophomore Bailee Zumwalde 17th. Grable is first in the all-around, Pisani fourth and Salsberg eighth.
