FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas swimming and diving team will wear swim caps with pink hogs and ribbons when it competes at the Rice Invitational Oct. 28-29 in Houston, Texas to show its support for breast cancer awareness.

Throughout the fall, the University of Arkansas Athletic Department has invited fans to show their support for breast cancer awareness and research along with their support of Razorback athletics by purchasing a Pink t-shirt.

The t-shirts are available from now through the Razorback softball season at Hog Heaven and Academy Sports + Outdoors in both the Fort Smith and Rogers locations.

One shirt serves as a ticket to five different athletic contests in Fayetteville. Fans could have gotten into the volleyball match against Ole Miss Oct. 21, and can still get into soccer versus LSU Oct. 28, a gymnastics meet with Oklahoma Feb. 5, a women’s basketball game against LSU Feb. 16 and a softball game this spring.

The Pink t-shirt is available now for $15 and a portion of the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation – Ozark Affiliate.

Tickets for the remaining contests in Fayetteville are available on-line or by calling the Razorback Ticket Center at 575-5151.

The first session of the Rice Invitational inside the Rice Aquatics Center is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28.
