FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas men’s basketball team took some time out of their schedule on Monday afternoon to spread some holiday cheer when they visited a local apartment community and delivered hams. The Razorbacks had an early practice on Monday and following the two-hour session, gathered in the Bud Walton Arena parking lot to head over to the community. The players went door-to-door with members of the community to deliver the food while also taking a moment to visit and take pictures. Arkansas takes the court again on Tuesday evening when it takes on the Eastern Kentucky Colonels at Bud Walton Arena. Tip time for the contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. and fans are encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys for donation to the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter and Toys for Tots.
