@RazorbackSD Closes Competition at Virginia Tech Invite

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Arkansas women’s swimming concluded competition at the Virginia Tech Invite with five Razorbacks downing personal records in the Christiansburg Aquatic Center on Sunday afternoon.

The day’s events were highlighted by sophomore Sarah Easterling’s win in the 200 backstroke where she touched the wall first in the finals with a personal-best time of 2:02.22. Freshman Courtney Nall also logged a career-best time of 2:10.11 in the 200 back prelims.

In the 200 butterfly, junior Erika McGovern registered a career-best time of 59.53 in the prelims while Nall recorded a personal-best mark of 1:07.69 in the 100 breaststroke finals, good for 12^th place.

To close the day, freshman Anya Quedens clocked a personal-best time of 53.23 in the 100 freestyle finals for 13^th place.

The Razorbacks will head to Auburn, Alabama for the SEC Championships on Feb. 17-22.
