FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The No. 22 Arkansas women’s soccer team’s matchup at Texas on Friday, Aug. 29 will be broadcast live on national TV. The match, which is slated to start at 7:30 p.m., will be shown on Longhorn Network TV and streamed through ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN app. There will also be FREE audio available for Friday night’s match via Texas’ website (Click HERE for audio).
Glenn Davis, nationally recognized soccer sportscaster, will provide play-by-play for LHN, while Monica Gonzalez, sideline reporter for Major League Soccer and a former soccer player for the Mexico women’s national team, will fill the analyst position.
The Razorbacks (2-0-0) enter the matchup riding a two-game winning streak, after opening weekend wins over Utah State (3-1) and Oklahoma State (2-1). Arkansas is looking to start the season 3-0 for the third consecutive season and the fourth time in program history. Texas (1-0-1) is unbeaten this season after earning a 2-2 draw with Arizona State and defeating Hawaii, 2-1, at the Outrigger Resorts Shootout in Honolulu, Hawaii.
