@RazorbackWTEN Defeated 4-0 By Kentucky In Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The No. 33 University of Arkansas women’s tennis team (5-6, 0-2 SEC) was defeated 4-0 by No. 31 Kentucky (12-2, 2-0 SEC) at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex in Lexington, Ky., on Sunday.

The Wildcats took the early advantage and earned the doubles point with wins on courts No. 1 and No. 2, then clinched the dual match victory with three straight wins in straight sets at No. 1, 2 and 3 singles. Nadia Ravita defeated Yang Pang (6-1, 6-2), Aldila Sutjiadi downed Shannon Hudson (6-3, 6-3) and Kelsey Dieters got past Kimberley – Ann Surin (7-5, 6-2).

Kentucky remained unbeaten on their home court and improved to 10-0 this season at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex with the win on Sunday.

No. 33 Arkansas has lost five straight dual matches, but returns home for a two-game home stand looking to right the ship. The Razorbacks face No. 23 Auburn on Friday, March 7, beginning at noon. UA will then host No. 74 Alabama on Sunday, March 9.
