FAYETTEVILLE — Fans are invited to join the Razorback Band and the University of Arkansas cheerleaders and mascots for a free RazorRock pep rally at the Park Plaza Mall in Little Rock on Friday, Nov. 18 at 4:45 p.m. Former Razorbacks Anthony Lucas (football) and Blake Eddins (basketball) will be featured speakers for the pep rally to help get fans ready for the Razorback weekend in Central Arkansas. The pep rally will be held at the food court on the lower level of Park Plaza Mall which is located at 6000 West Markham. The pep rally will mark the third year of RazorRock, an annual event designed to celebrate the Arkansas Razorbacks and their presence in Central Arkansas. This year’s RazorRock pep rally will be the kickoff event for a weekend that will includes both a men’s basketball and football game. “We are excited to travel to Central Arkansas for another RazorRock weekend,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. “The pep rally will be a great way for Razorback fans to get ready for the men’s basketball on Friday night and the football game on Saturday. We always have tremendous support in Central Arkansas and throughout the state. I hope fans will make the RazorRock pep rally part of their weekend plans.” Arkansas men’s basketball team plays Houston at Verizon Arena on Friday night at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Razorback football team hosts Mississippi State at War Memorial Stadium with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. Tickets remain for Friday night’s men’s basketball game and may be purchased at the Verizon Arena ticket office and at TicketMaster.com. Saturday’s football game is sold out.
