FLUSHING, N.Y. – The United States Tennis Association released the draws for the third annual American Collegiate Invitational on Wednesday.

Mike Redlicki, one of eight American college tennis players selected to participate in the prestigious event, will begin play Thursday against Thai-Son Kwiatkowski of Virginia. Redlicki will play in the third match of the day on Court 5 at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York, with the day’s action beginning at 11 a.m. CT.

A two-time All-American, Kwiatkowski was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2016 NCAA Championship and finished the 2015-16 season ranked No. 7 in the nation.

If Redlicki advances to the semifinals, he will play the winner of Tom Fawcett (Stanford) and Konrad Zieba (Northwestern). The other side of the draw includes Christopher Eubanks (Georgia Tech), Austin Smith (Georgia), Ryan Shane (Virginia) and Jared Hiltzik (Illinois). The final is set for Saturday.

The winner of the single-elimination tournament will earn a wild card into the 2017 US Open, main draw or qualifying, depending on their ranking next summer.
