Played in 11 games with five starts at catcher and designated hitter … Hit .150 with three hits, three runs scored and two RBI … Also walked three times … All three of his hits occurred during SEC play against No. 2 Florida (April 14), No. 2 Texas A&M (April 30) and Alabama (May 14) … Provided pinch-hit game-tying single that sent the game into extra innings against the Aggies in second game of double-header (April 30).
As a Sophomore (2015)
Played in 31 games, including starting 17 at catcher … Hit .240 with two doubles and two runs batted in … Posted two multi-hit games, collecting a pair of hits against Southeast Missouri State (March 18) and at Georgia (May 14) … Came on as a defensive replacement in the NCAA Stillwater Regional against Oklahoma State (May 30) and walked in his only at bat of the NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional against Missouri State (June 5) … Did not make an error in 110 chances behind home plate and threw out eight of 27 base stealers for a .704 stolen base allowed percentage.
As a Freshman (2014)
Redshirted the first 50 games of the season, but came on to catch in the series opener against No. 20 Texas A&M (May 9) following a series of injuries behind the plate … Played in eight total games, starting seven of those at catcher … Recorded hits in six of his eight games, including two multi-hit games … Hit .320 in his brief stint with three runs batted in and four runs scored … Tallied his first collegiate hit at Missouri on May 17, recording two hits to help fuel a four-run ninth inning and an 11-inning victory to sweep the Tigers in the final series of the regular season … Registered six postseason hits, four of which came in the SEC Tournament, while two were against Bucknell at the NCAA Charlottesville Regional.
