Beat two of her personal-bests at the meet against Nebraska in the 50 Free (25.46) and in the 100 Free (59.40) … posted three season-bests at the Art Adamson Invite in the 100 Fly (58.04), 200 Fly (2:09.46), and in the 200 Back (2:09.04).

High school did not have a swim program … swam for the Kansas City Blazers under the direction of head coach Gardner Howland … was a member of National Honors Society and an Academic All-American … qualified for the NCSA’s and Futures.

Born March 9, 1999 … daughter of Amy and Kurt Torkelson … has two younger brother, Chase and Brody … mother swam for the University of Arkansas and grandfather pitched for the Kansas Jayhawks … majoring in elementary education.
