Made 26 appearances all out of the bullpen for the Razorbacks…Compiled a 3.49 ERA, the fourth-lowest ERA on the team with a 1-2 record…Over 28.1 innings pitched, gave up just 11 earned runs with 29 strikeouts and only allowed nine walks…Also recorded three saves, one of four different Hogs to record at least one save and one of two to total three or more saves during the season…Did not give up an earned run in first 13 appearances, a string of 15.2 innings…Only walked two during stretch and struck out 16 for one of best stretches by a Razorback pitcher during year…Went season-long 3.0 innings twice vs. Missouri (4/1) and Alabama (5/14)…Struck out season-high three against Missouri and Auburn (3/27)…Tallied nine different games in which he struck out two or more hitters.
Franklin Pierce (2012-15)
Recorded 21 saves over his final three seasons, highlighted by 13 as a junior in 2014 … Part of three teams that advanced to the NCAA Division II East Regional, winning the regional in 2013 en route to a fifth place finish nationally under head coach Jayson King … Made 61 career appearances with a 2.71 ERA … Two-time Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll selection … Recorded four saves as a sophomore with a 2.45 ERA to earn the closer roll heading into his junior campaign … 13 saves as a junior tied for 17th nationally in Division II and third in the Northeast-10 … Posted a 1.83 ERA and struck out 31 in 39.1 innings of work … Recorded four saves in seven innings as a senior before missing the rest of the season due to injury.

Played for head coach Pete Girouard … Also played basketball and soccer … Most memorable athletic moment was winning the Cape Cod Baseball League championship with the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

Son of Jeff and Lisa Willey … Has one sister, Alysia … Chose to attend Arkansas because it has a unique and successful tradition with a rich baseball history, as well as great coaches, facilities, fan base and the opportunity for a great education … Ambition is to play professional baseball … Plans to be a strength and conditioning coach after his playing career is over … Enjoys playing guitar and video games, as well as watching movies … Writes original songs on the guitar and is very superstitious … Majoring in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
