Clocked season-best times at the 2014 Georgia Tech Invite, where she took fourth in the 100 (1:02.12) and 200 (2:14.96) breaststroke… Opened the 2014-15 season with a fourth-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.63) in Arkansas’ match-up against Florida… In the second meet of the season, Banach shaved six seconds off her first time and touched the wall second in the 200 breaststroke against Texas A&M with a time of 2:17.76… Swam to a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.85) and took third in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.22) in Arkansas’ dual at Nebraska… Claimed second-place in the 200 breaststroke against Vanderbilt with a time of 2:23.01… Swam to a second-place finish at Kansas in the 100(1:05.01) and 200 breaststroke (2:19.28)… Narrowly missed the SEC Championship finals of the 100 and 200 breaststroke, registering a time of 1:03.17, good for 29th in the 100 and clocked the 27th-time in the 200 prelims (2:16.11).
Junior (2013-14)
Banach’s time of 1:02.60 at the Mizzou Invitational in the 100 Breaststroke was the 27th best time in the SEC, a personal season best and the second best time on the team in 2013-14… Swam a time of 1:02.60 in the 100 breaststroke in the SEC Swimming and Diving Championships… Claimed a first-place finish in the 300-yard breaststroke relay at the North Texas Relays… Placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke at the North Texas Relays (1:05.53)… Snagged a second-place finish in the 200 breaststroke against at the North Texas Relays (2:20.27)… Placed second at LSU in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:04.01)… Took first in the 200 yard breaststroke in the Kansas, Vanderbilt double dual (2:20.47)… Placed 10th in the 100 breaststroke and swam a season-best 200 IM (2:06.95) at the Mizzou Invitational
Sophomore (2012-13)
Banach’s successful sophomore season was highlighted by four event wins and a scoring performance at the SEC Championships…. At the triple-dual meet against Missouri, Kentucky and Southern Illinois, Banach took the top spot in the 100 (1:04.08) and 200-yard (2:18.38) breaststroke … Two of those wins took place at the triple-dual meet against Missouri, Kentucky and Southern Illinois, where she… Banach swam a career-best 2:12.70 in the 200 breaststroke at the Houston Cougar Invitational in Houston, Texas. … Swam a personal-best time in the 100 breaststroke at the SEC Championships. Freshman (2011-12)
Achieved four first-place finishes and nine in the top three. … Placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:15.55 at the Rice Invitational, the second-fastest of the season for Arkansas and was an NCAA ‘B’ cut qualifying time. … Placed first in the 200 breaststroke against Kansas, and in the 100 breaststroke against Kansas and Vanderbilt. … Her top 100 breaststroke time of the season came in her first swim at the SEC Championships, where Banach clocked a time of 1:03.07

Banach graduated from Hof Hasharon High School in 2011… Swam for Happoel Eilat Club in Eilat, Israel… Participated at the European Junior Championships in Belgrade in 2008, the World Championships in Rome in 2009 and the European Championships in Budapest in 2010… Banach is the Israeli record holder in the 200-meter breaststroke

Born May 3, 1992 in the Ukraine to Sergey and Olga Banach… Grew up in Israel and has one younger sister, Anna… Her father, Sergey, is a swim coach in Israel… Came to Arkansas because of the combination of high-level athletics and academics, and plans to major in graphic design
