Carded a final round three-under 68 at the 105th Texas Amateur Championship to tie for 10th place … finished stroke play at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in a tie for seventh but was beat in the round of 64 … earned the No. 3 seed in the 2014 Cotton States after qualifying rounds of 70 and 71 … finished in 13th place and nearly made it three straight years as the low amateur at the 44th Texas State open, finishing nine-under par (66-64-78-70) … tied for 36th in a 36-hole weather-shortened Trans-Mississippi Championship.

As A Redshirt Sophomore (2013-14)

One of three players to start all 13 events … finished fourth on the team with a 73.5 stroke average over 39 rounds played … best finish of the year came at the NCAA Columbia Regional where he tied for fifth overall as the team’s low-man with a three-day 72-69-67/208 (-8) … had a season-best 13 birdies while the 208 was a 54-hole career-low … all three top 20s came in the spring … six lowest tournaments came in the spring where he sported a 72.4 scoring average … team-low man in two tournaments and six rounds … turned in a counting score in 34 of 39 rounds, highlighted by eight of nine in postseason play … had a 71.2 scoring average in the postseason with 34 birdies over the three tournaments … finished under-par four times and shot even-par in six rounds … tied for the team lead with two eagles while adding 118 birdies … had double-digit birdies in seven events, including six of the last seven … first top 20 came in the spring at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate where he tied for 18th … followed with another top 20 (T-15th) thanks to a career-low six-under 65 in the final round of the Valspar Invitational to finish in a three-way tie for the team’s low-man … made NCAA Championships debut in Hutchinson, Kan., finishing second on the team in a tie for 69th overall … earned a spot on the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Low amateur at the 43rd Texas State Open for the second straight year, tying for sixth place overall at nine-under par for the event.

Placed 12th and was the low amateur at the 42nd Texas State Open, finishing the four rounds at one-under 287 … finished 12th at the Texas Amateur at three-under par 210 … tied for 13th at the Trans-Mississippi Championship.

As A Freshman (2011-12)

Named to the SEC All-Freshman team … played in 10 tournaments, producing a 73.3 stroke average over 30 rounds … had a pair of top 10s and four top 20 finishes … produced an under-par round seven times, including four in the 60s, with two other even-par performances … finished at or below par in three tournaments … turned in a counting score in 23 of 27 rounds played with the team … carded 84 birdies and a pair of eagles … team low-man at The Woodlands All-American Intercollegiate with a 68-69-73/210 (-6), good for a tie for third place … won all four of his matches at the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championship, including the clinching match for Arkansas on a playoff hole vs. Duke … tied for 42nd at the SEC Championships with a 77-72-71/220 … earned a spot on the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll … made the Athletic Department Athletic Director’s List (3.5-3.99) for fall semester and Honor Roll for spring semester.

High School

Two-time district champion as an individual, he was the first freshman to win an individual district title at Mansfield High School … has numerous individual titles to his credit, including the Lockwood Classic and the Pebble Creek Classic which he won twice … led Mansfield to three district championships, two regional titles and a 3rd and 4th place finish at the state championship … placed in the top five in three ASGA tournaments as a junior while also participating in the U.S. Junior Amateur … qualified for the U.S. Amateur with second place finish … tied for 216th at the U.S. Amateur … tied for third at the Texas Amateur … tied for 25th at the Texas State Open, shooting three rounds in the 60s.
