Sophomore (2013-14)
Was an integral part of Arkansas’ relay corps… Was a part of Arkansas’ top season relay times in the 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle and 400 medley relay… Snagged a first-place finish in the 100 butterfly (58.32) against Missouri State… As a member of the 300-yard breaststroke relay team that took first at the North Texas Relay Invitational with a time of 2:50.32… Notched her first career win in the 200 IM in 2:07.53 to score for Arkansas at the North Texas Relay Invitational… Swam an NCAA ‘B’ cut time and best time at Arkansas (2:02.56) in the 200 IM prelims at the Missouri Invitational… Swam a personal best and NCAA ‘B’ cut time in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:46.92 at the SEC Championships… Recorded the fourth fastest 100 freestyle time in Arkansas history and a personal best (49.06) at the SEC Championships… Made first NCAA appearance as a member of the Arkansas’ three relays that all posted top-five program times… Contributed to Arkansas’ 800 freestyle medley relay that posted the second fastest time in Arkansas history (7:10.57), the 400 freestyle relay team that posted the fourth-fastest time in history (3:18.80) and the 400 medley relay team that clocked in the fifth fastest time in program history (3:37.60).
Freshman (2012-13)
Competed in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle events and also in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays… Individually tallied season-best times in all her freestyle events at the SEC Championships with a 23.36 in the 50 freestyle, 50.31 in the 100 freestyle and a 1:51.75 in the 200 freestyle… Was part of the school-record 200 freestyle relay team that recorded a time of 1:30.23, in addition to two of the top-five times in school history over the course of the season… Helped the Razorbacks take down the 400 freestyle relay record with a time of 3:18.47 in addition to swimming three of the top-five times in school history.
High School/Club
Was a four-time Telegraph Swimmer of the Year… Was a two-time sectional champion during her senior year at Alton High School… Throughout high school she was a sectional champion nine times… Qualified for the YMCA National Championships four times.
Personal
Was born on February 16, 1994, to Timothy and Sandra Monroe in Alton, Illinois… Has one sister, Grace, and one brother, Matt… Is a mechanical engineering major with hopes to pursue a career in the engineering field one day.
