Appeared in 24 matches and earned nine starts… Recorded 80 kills and 1.43 kills per set against SEC opponents, 1.39 per set and 122 kills overall… Registered 36 block assists for 0.41 blocks per set with a season-high six blocks at Mississippi State (Oct. 20)… Posted 10 kills twice, once against UAPB (Sept. 10) and against at Alabama (Sept. 29)… had at least two kills in every appearance… recorded a season-high five digs vs Mississippi State (Nov. 24).

Prep
Named as a Prep Volleyball Senior Ace Honorable Mention performer, Garrett was the TAPPS 6A Player of the Year after leading Antonian College Prep to the 2017 state title. She also earned all-state, all-state tournament and all-district honors. Garrett totaled 563 kills and 347 digs during her senior campaign and amassed more than 1,800 kills and 1,000 digs in her prep career.
Personal
Maylin is the daughter of Franklin and Mamie Garrett, and has three younger siblings, Caleb, Kyleigh and Avery. Her father played basketball at UC Riverside.
