Began her career as a Razorback at the Cowboy Preview (Sept. 1) where she finished with the sixth-best time for the Razorbacks and 17th overall at 11:12.60 … In her next race, she finished with the second-best time for Arkansas at the Missouri Southern Stampede (Sept. 16), completing the 5K course in 17:53.47 finishing in the top-20 overall… She completed her first outdoor season at the Chile Pepper Festival (Sept. 30) where she finished 14th overall and had the fourth-best time for the Razorbacks at 17:26.30
High School
CIF 800 finalist during her sophomore year while competing for Martin Luther King Jr HS in Riverside, California … Transferred to Briarcrest for junior and senior season and picked up an indoor gold medal in the mile at the Tennessee State Championship … Trained with the Breakaway Race team during the outdoor season and qualified for the 2016 USTAF Junior Outdoor Championship in the 800 … Capped her senior season as an 800 finalist at the national meet.
