2015 | Senior

2014 | Junior

Appeared in 13 games with one start in the designated player spot…primarily used as a pinch hitter…had six hits in 13 at-bats…notched a two-run single against St. John’s (Feb. 14) off the bench…also tallied an RBI in a pinch-hit situation against Northwestern State (Feb. 19)…2014 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2013 | Sophomore

Bronkey improved from last season and started 53 games for the Razorbacks at second base. She hit .300 in the series against No. 17 Kentucky including a homerun. She was great at knowing her role in the lineup and hit in six different spots in the order. She was fourth in the SEC with eight sacrifice bunts. Her big weekend came against No. 22 Georgia, where she went 5-for-9 with two doubles. She eclipsed her RBI total from last season, with 22.

2012 | RS Freshman

Bronkey, a red-shirt freshman, made a huge impact at the plate and in the infield for the Razorbacks last season. She started 56 of the 57 games, she averaged .287 at the plate with 45 hits, 16 RBI and two home runs. Bronkey recorded her first home run as a Razorback in the 10-2 victory over Iowa at the Getterman Classic in Waco, Texas. Bronkey spent most of her time at second base, but also saw some time in left field. Defensively she recorded 82 putouts and 64 assists with a fielding percentage of .973. Sierra was clutch in the 2-1 victory over No. 11 Georgia where she went 2-3 at the plate including a double to place herself and another runner in scoring position. Bronkey was solid at the plate in the 3-2 victory over No. 1 California in the Berkeley Regional where she recorded a single for an RBI in the top of the first to give Arkansas the 3-0 lead.

2011 | Freshman

Bronkey redshirted her freshman season due to injury.

High School

Bronkey capped her high school career helping Edmond Santa Fe High School to a fifth-place finish at the 2009 Oklahoma 6A State Championship. She finished her senior year with a .432 batting average, 37 RBI and 10 home runs on her way to player of the year recognition. Bronkey also earned honors as a member of the Oklahoma all-state first team. A four-year starter and letterwinner, Bronkey was first-team all-conference each of her four years and Metro All-Big City Honorable Mention for three years. She was a first-team all-state pitcher, Big All-City Player of the Year and Ferguson Jenkins Player of the Year in 2009. She was an All-Edmond first-team selection in 2006 and 2007 and earned player of the year accolades in 2008 and 2009. Bronkey helped lead her team to a runner-up finish at the state championships as a freshman. She was a member of the National Honor Society and was a high school teammate of LSU’s Morgan Russell.

Personal

Born Feb. 5, 1992, she is the daughter of Jeff and Kathy Bronkey. She has an older sibling, Sarene. Her father, Jeff Bronkey, pitched for the both the Texas Rangers and Milwaukee Brewers from 1993-95. Bronkey is majoring in kinesiology and exercise science.
